WYBA COVID-19 Refund Policy

Due to the uncertainty with COVID-19, the Wellesley Youth Basketball Association would like to provide its families with the following clarification and guidance of the upcoming season's refund policy. 

Prior to the start of the program, if a player withdraws from a registered program or requests a refund, a refund will be processed upon request less a $20 processing fee.

If one or more state/local governing bodies provide guidance to restrict the ability to conduct sessions resulting in the cancellation of the WYBA/Babson-hosted basketball season prior to the start of the season, all players who are currently registered will receive a full refund for the cancelled sessions. 

In the event that the WYBA/Babson-hosted basketball season starts but is unable to finish due to one or more state/local governing bodies restricting the ability to conduct the sessions, WYBA will offer a pro-rated refund less a modest fee to offset nonrefundable program costs. Our goal is to provide the best basketball experience for our families. These “goals” come with some fixed costs to run our programs, regardless of the number of registered players.  Given WYBA's status as a non-profit organization for the benefit of the youth of Wellesley, WYBA would greatly appreciate any potential future refund of fees being converted to WYBA donations, at the sole discretion of each family. We appreciate our community's ongoing support during these unprecedented times.
